Equipment Requirements

  • Uniform

    Uniforms should be cleaned and ironed regularly. White shirt must be worn underneath.

    All rank associated stripes on the belt must be on the left hand side of the belt when belt is tied on.

  • Sparring Gear

    PKSA Approved Sparring Gear required at Orange Belt. Includes sparring headgear, gloves, boots, and mouthguard. Chest guard, shin guards, and cup optional but suggested.

  • Bo Staff

    Required at Green Belt. The height should be between the nose and the top of the head of the student.

  • Patches

    There are two required patches that are used required on the colored trim uniforms (green, red, and midnight blue). The Dragon Patch goes on the left chest of the uniform. The Flags TSD Patch goes on the right sleeve-two inches below the shoulder seam.

  • Green Trim Uniform

    Required at Green Belt with both the TSD Flags Patch and the PKSA Dragon Patch.

  • Red Trim Uniform

    Required at Red Belt with both the TSD Flags Patch and the PKSA Dragon Patch.

  • Dan Uniform - Midnight Blue Trim

    Required at Cho Dan and higher with both the TSD Flags Patch and the PKSA Dragon Patch.
